Does anyone have any input on the ASU Downtown Campus experience. I know it’s not like Tempe and I’m worried I will feel like I’m missing out on the action and I want a traditional college experience. I would have to change my major to be at Tempe, but will being at downtown campus be, in simple words, boring?

I really want the answer to this, but no one on anything writes about ASU downtown campus!
ASU’s Tempe campus is only a short drive on loop 202 from downtown Phoenix. If you have a car, getting there is pretty easy.
Unfortunately I have never been to ASU’s downtown campus (I’ve visited ASU’s Tempe campus several times), so I can’t say much about it.
You can ride the Valley Metro Light Rail between the downtown and Tempe campuses. https://cfo.asu.edu/pts-transit-metro
