Arabrab, they are giving out scholarships that cover full tuition. You can go on their website to their scholarship calculator, input your information, and get your projected scholarship :)

How much harder will it be for me to get in becaue I’m out of state???

If you are NHS, you shall have no problem getting in.

Christain2, Can you explain for me please? How do you know? Do you have experience with the admissions process at Barrett’s? Sorry to make you explain yourself, but I’m really really nervous because this is like the one and only school that I want to go to!

Barrett Honors College at ASU really is a great place for gifted kids to study. ASU got the dean of Columbia to come out to Arizona to make ASU a great university. He insisted on building up an already very strong honors college. ASU has poured millions into building BHC its own campus within the campus: great dorm, food court and library for honors students. The profs are first rate and love the honors students. Really good merit money available. The even brought the honors h.s. kids w/ NMF out to the football game vs Oregon and introduced them to the 60,000 spectators as NMFs who are comming to Barret. Each student got a moment on the Jumbotron. They put a lot of financial resources and show the love - ASU is committed to the honors college.

LAX, my son is a Barrett student majoring in Supply Chain Management. ASU is trying to attact good students and being a NHS is one of the criteria. Your ACT score is also very good. I do not see any problem for you to get admitted into Barrett. It is a great place and my son is doing very well there.

^Oh, okay. Thanks for the info!

Hello! I have just recently joined college confidential today and am still getting the hang of things. I am only an 8th grader, but really want to go to W.P Carey School of Business to become the manager of a huge company. (McDonalds, Coke, Walmart, etc.) I know close to nothing about the world of business and have some questions maybe someone can answer for me? Please, I need some help, advice, and some guidance!;]]

My advice is to study hard. Be the best student that you can be. Get involve with your community and extra curricular activities. Be a good citizen and you will do well regardless what you end up to be.

I know someone who went to Barrett – turned down an Ivy League school in part because of the cost difference. This person went on to a top-10 law school and is doing very, very well in the legal profession. Just an anecdote, but from what I have seen and read Barrett is one of the top honors colleges in the nation. Honors colleges at large state universities offer a lot to their students.
