At Hopkins, does EVERYTHING have to be in by Nov 15th for ED?

I dont know if this is a universal or college specific thing, but my ACTs wont be back till right around November 15th, and what happens if they get there the 20th lets say? Is that a big no-no?

Normally, test scores are not date-critical. I'm not saying this specifically for Hopkins, but in general, if colleges say they accept scores from a certain sitting, then they will wait for them to arrive - I'm not sure exactly how it works here at JHU but at many other colleges, they don't actually consider apps till early December anyway. Laxfan04 should be able to clarify how Hopkins deals with scores and ED apps

OK I found the spot on the site on this stuff. Any standardized tests with October dates are accepted for ED and it seems like they try to accept November tests as well. Ill definitely send my SAT IIs which I am taking November 5th with the priority delivery if I decide to do ED. Any further input/clarity would be nice, however.

I would be scared as hell to send test scores to a school without knowing what they were first....

I dunno, Ive never scored poorly on any standardized test in my life. Im not too worried.

Nov. 15th is the Early Decision deadline which means your application must be postmarked that date. Other application materials such as letters of recommendation and test scores may arrive a bit later - but overall the Admissions Office would like all ED application materials to arrive within one week of the Nov. 15th deadline.

As far as Nov. test scores for ED applicants, if you not on your application you are submitting Nov. tests than they will make sure to include them in the ED application review.

Summarized, if applying ED try to get everything in by Nov. 15th. If anything is going to be a bit later let the Admissions Office know.

Good luck.
