@DivIIIAlum, No, it hasn’t been fixed. My S was just recruited last Oct and received his rejection letter in Dec. 2015. If you look on the ED1 thread for that time period you will see other recruited athletes who didn’t get in and who were as flabbergasted as we were. Unfortunately, it’s still going on. In our case, my son got lucky and was still supported by Skidmore’s coach so still gets to play next year, but other kids might not be as lucky. We hold no bitterness at this point. My S is interested in going into engineering in Skidmore’s joint 3-2 program with Dartmouth and is over the moon.

@frutsun, you probably know, but Skidmore with it’s ED2, had at least 5 or 6 kids that had the same experience on the 2013 team . Jack Sandler, god rest his soul, would continue to go after Haverford kids because of this. Really smart recruiting.

The problem was certainly not fixed as of this past fall when Bathory used the 90% figure on more than one occasion in order to get my son to apply ED. Long live the honor code!
@SneakySquirrels , where did your S end up going instead?
I think that things worked out for the best. He will be attending Hamilton this fall. Hamilton has an honor code just like Haverford but Hamilton also seems to have an honorable lacrosse coach.
@frutsun, I don’t know right now how hard Skidmore looks at Haverford kids that get jammed up. Sandler left (than passed), Hart was there for two years, and I I don’t really know the new guy, Tucker Kear.
