Ok, well I plan on pursuing an Athletic Training major when I head off to college next year. I have already applied to 3 schools, accepted to 2 and still waiting for a response from the other, and plan on applying to at least 1 or 2 more schools. I then plan on going to graduate school for Physical Therapy to earn a DPT, but that's still quite a while away.

All of the colleges that I have applied to, been accepted to, or plan on applying to have an accredited Athletic Training program, which would allow me to take the certification test after completing the major, assuming I get in in the first place. Now I assume that the programs are probably very similar, since there must be some sort of standard in order to be accredited, correct me if I'm wrong though.

My main question is: Out of the colleges listed below, which is the best for athletic training? If anyone knows, or if there even is one.

University of Iowa (Accepted)
Indiana University - Bloomington (Accepted)
University of Nebraska - Lincoln (Waiting for reply)
University of Wisconsin - Madison (Will apply soon)
University of Pittsburgh (Might apply)

So, again, if anyone knows how good the programs are or which is the best of the bunch it would be greatly appreciated.

Also, another thing that I was wondering is: If get accepted as an Athletic Training major and I plan on double majoring or minoring in something, which I do, what would be some good complements to an Athletic Training major and aspiring DPT?

Thanks for any help that you give, again, it is greatly appreciated.
