Athletics

Basically, I was wondering how important athletics are to an admission process. I skateboard and snowboard, but my school offers no teams for these sports. I love doing them and I realize that the stereotype often associated with them is not a nice one. My friends and I, wanting to break these stereotypes, created our own team/company; so far we’ve made 2 movies (i am a computer nerd on top of everything), we’ve been selling decks and shirts on ebay and other various places, and we do have a website up. Should I just drop this idea and go play some mindless sport? Well when I think about it I wouldn’t stop doing this, but should I do it less and go play a mindless sport? Im just wondering if this is only going to hurt me…

Thanks

P.S. its gonna be funny to see how many people make fun of this post as thats all you guys do to every post here, btw I’m looking for a real answer not some philosophical crap about following your dreams.

dont worry, theyre not gonna "discriminate" against you cuz youre a skateboader, but its not gonna definetly help you like a recruitment for a real sport will. they will most likely view it as a unique EC
