Attaching an art portfolio to college apps?

Hi, I’m beginning to apply to college, and I was wondering how one should attach an art portfolio to a college app. I’m not planning to go into the arts, and none of the colleges I’m looking at require an art portfolio as part of the application. I was thinking of maybe first compiling all my artworks into a big book, and then scanning that big book. Then I might put them on some sort of image sharing website and attach that link to the common app extracurriculars section.

Does anybody have any suggestions for how I might go about doing this? Thanks so much!

If I were you, i’d check each of the website of all colleges that you are applying too and see what they say. I think it’ll probably be a good idea…I can’t imagine it hurting you, but it could help.

My S did a supplemental submission by creating a website. Then, he provided the URL on his application. He was able to track that it had been viewed.
