Hi!

So I want to go to UCLA, Stanford, or maybe UPenn...but now that I think about it, I'm kind of confused, because I'm not sure what kind of art I want to do now.

I want to send my art portfolios to these schools, but am I allowed to do that if I don't know what major in art I will do? Or do I have to send different types of portfolios?

And I want to go to these schools because I also want to study other academics as well. :)

Thanks!

Hey There,
I am also an artist and I am submitting an Arts supplement through the commonapp. If you have an interest in art (any art) colleges advise you to submit an arts supplement. You should include a variety of samples of all the art you do so they can better see your talents and range of interests. If they use the commonapp, you can upload your work to a website (Picasa, Slideroom, ect) and they can see everything. Good Luck!

But won’t that be different from the school requirements?

Thanks :), good luck to you too

If the school has their own seperate requirements for the arts supplement, then you should follow those. But the type of art (unless they tell you NOT to submit, like, photgraphy) doesn’t matter. you can include anything.

thanks!

Oh! Ok, that’s awesome! :D
