Attending CC as a Older Student....

Hello,

I graduated from High School in June and I have a couple of questions.

I turned 18 in August and I was wondering if going to a CC or a local accredited private university at 19 serve as any strains? The reason I ask this is because I'm struggling with a math exit examination (it is suspected I have dyscalculia, or a math disability) and I'm nervous because I don't want to feel inferior around younger students.

Will differential college settings impact the volume of education received? To elaborate on this, will going to a local accredited "private" school serve as less than a state university in terms of education?

A lot of the people at community college will be in their 40s. The average student will be in their 20s.

At 19 you will be the baby.

I don’t quite agree with that, but I do agree that there’s a very broad range of ages in the population of community college students.

I see students as young as 15 and as old as their 60s and 70s, but most of 'em are in their late teens or early twenties.
