Attending three different colleges during undergraduate. Good or bad?

Is it looked down upon by admissions officers of graduate schools or medical schools to see that you transferred to one school and then transferred to another one a year later? Does it look bad to have 3 schools on your transcript. I get the feeling I may be in this predicament.
Thank you to anyone who responds. Any opinion is welcome.

A surprising number of people do this. Don’t worry about it “looking bad”.

I don’t know about Med School admission, but as a hirer for a company I would wonder.

^ Really? No one has ever asked me!

I only list the college I was awarded a degree from on employment resumes, so they would never know how many colleges I attended. There is no reason for them to ask.

I went to a community college my first year, then transferred to a small 4-year school. Hated it, so I transferred again to another 4-year college and graduated from there. A lot of people do this due to finances, or they’ll take additional courses not offered at their university at another school (such as summer courses or cross-registration). From what I’ve read it doesn’t make a big different to graduate schools (though I don’t know about medical schools).

^^ You said that there is nothing wrong with it “from what you’ve read”. Where have you read this from?
