Has anyone gotten accepted or rejected from the Cinematic Arts school or the Fine Arts school? I am interested in applying for the Spring 2009 term. I was wondering how competitive the students are. Is it super hard to get accepted? What are the statistics? Please reply!!!

Here's the scoop on this year's applicants to film: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-southern-california/470532-school-cinematic-arts-applicants.html

There were several Spring 09 admits to the film school among this year's applicants, so if you're talking about applying to transfer for that term, I wouldn't expect you'll have much luck. If you start at USC in fall 08, you can apply to transfer into the major. All the requirements are laid out on the website (cinema.usc.edu, I think). I believe the earliest you could get in would be sophomore year, but I could be wrong.

LOL nobody gets rejected from the fine art school. -_- (said the fine arts major) its... small...and kinda crappy;;; I should've done my research before I came here but then you get used to it and its alright.
