australian needs help :'(

<p>i'm trying to transfer from an australian uni into uof/ubc and mcgill... but the first year requirements are not met. what are my chances?</p>

<p>especially when ubc/uoft/mcgill says that a course of calculus is needed. however in australia, i took the IB diploma, does this count as calculus? for my HL math i managed a 4. i'm in first year of uni in uni of sydney and we are taking commerce courses straight away (no breadths or university writing etc etc) </p>

<p>does this mean i have no chance?</p>
