Potential transfer..PLEASE HELP. I have like 6 days.

Sorry guys, I'm panicking cause I have like 6 days left (the application is due on January 15th). Alright, I'm a community college student in California. I'm a Canadian Citizen..

9th grade - Ontario
10th grade - Ontario
11th grade - United States
12th grade - United States
Freshmen Year (Community College) - United States
Sophomore Year (Community College) - United States

I've filled out the app, but have not submitted it yet. I think I should be fine, cause I think once I fill out the application, I have until April 30th to mail in my transcripts and all that (according to this Applicants from Other Universities for Transfer and for Second Degree). Correct me if I'm wrong. I plan to apply as a business major. That link I just provided says we need to have:

One semester of differential calculus

One semester of integral calculus

I don't have either of those. I took Precalc/Trig last quarter. I'm taking Statistics this quarter. Am I screwed? Not worth applying? here are my stats:

College GPA: 3.8 - I have 2 courses remaining (I'll be taking this quarter), and I'm fairly certain I'll be able to keep a 3.8. Worst case, I might end up with a 3.75.

Major: Business

College Units (Quarter System): 83 Units - I have one "W", in a class completely unrelated to my major (Philosophy)

Thanks in advance everyone!

I called McGill regarding the same question, and they are strict about the minimal required courses for transfers. You need to have them.

Damn. Thanks man. That’s pretty stupid on their part. Aren’t One differential calculus
and integral calculus like two of the highest math classes one could take? I don’t see why we couldn’t just take them during our first year at McGill. But anyways.

Do you know if they could admit us, pending the completion of those courses (meaning we’d just have to take that class before we start at McGill during the Fall of 2012)?

All major business schools require calculus before junior/third year, usually taken in freshman year. If you were planning on transferring into a business program, you should have become familiar with the math requirements.

You’ll have to complete it before enrolling.

Most business schools in the US do not. For example, you cannot apply directly to USC’s business school, nor can you apply to UNC’s business school. You must complete one semester prior to applying for their business school (Marshall - USC & Kenan-Flagler - UNC).

Might be different in Canada.
