So anyway, I'm an student from Australia, just entered Yr12. I'm interested in doing Biochemistry at any Ivy League school, Public Ivy whatever. but for now..go to focus on the SAT subject tests

I'm doing my SATs in January over here, at a local university. I'm doing my Chem., Biology E/M and Mathematics I on that day.

So I need help.
What are they?
I'll be getting study guides soon, but what sort of questions do they involve? Would the questions involved be the same as any other high school final examination?

Will I be out of my depth if I attempt them at the start of Yr 12?

Keep in mind, I'm pretty good student, I get almost straight As for the above-mentioned subjects.

I just need some general info, since in the last few days I've been looking into American colleges and such.

Optional Question: What's a competitive score for say... an Ivy League school for SATs (I know other factors are taken into account, but just an estimate)

Edit: What is each SAT test's total mark?
Also, loving the fact that you can redo the test as many times as you please!

Help would be awesome. My dream is to go to get a phD in Biochemistry from UC Berkeley or MIT, or any other respected institution.
=]
Also to get a general sense of me, if my GPA is worked out, it's about 3.6, but that's a totally unofficial GPA I calculated myself through my Aussie report.

I tried, believe me, I have been scouring Google for hours.

Thanks anyway :]

What are they?
- 1 hour long multiple-choice exams

I'll be getting study guides soon, but what sort of questions do they involve? Would the questions involved be the same as any other high school final examination?
- I think, for my school in Singapore, the standard of the SAT subject tests/difficulty is much lower than my high school exams.
- The main difference is the style & focus. Pure MCQ, only 1 hour, and no calculators (except for math papers)

Will I be out of my depth if I attempt them at the start of Yr 12?
- Don't think so. I'm not familiar with the Aussie system.

Optional Question: What's a competitive score for say... an Ivy League school for SATs (I know other factors are taken into account, but just an estimate)
- 750 or more for each subject test

Edit: What is each SAT test's total mark?
- 800 points

I don't think OG is enough. As far as I'm concerned, the only value is the sample test and example questions for each subject.
I would suggest you to get sparknotes books, whether online(SparkNotes: Today's Most Popular Study Guides) or paper books(since I'm in China I have no access to real books). It's excellent. Comprehensive knowledge and appropriate tests.
BTW,Chem&Bio are really really tough. If you want to get a score 750+ or even 800, you must learn a lot and always be careful.
