i was automatically accepted to ut austin due to the top 8% law, but im still hearing back from other colleges. as of now, it seems that the chances of me going to ut are 50/50. can i still apply for housing now though even if i do decide to turn ut down? i mainly just don't want to end up in jester and idk if san jac is still a possibility at this point, but that would be nice :)

You do not need to be admitted before you apply for housing. But there is non-refundable $50 housing application fee. [Housing | Freshmen | Be a Longhorn](Housing & Dining – University of Texas Admissions)
