Where can we find the “average” incoming GPA at Stanford, or other Ivy-level schools?
I have a 3.79-3.8 Unweighted GPA (with 4.35 Weighted) and I am very worried about this fact.
Even though many people say that this is “okay” and to focus on other parts of the app, but I just really want to know the facts for the actual admitted students.
Thank you!
It’s impossible to compare GPA across schools.
It’s enough to know that most students who are at Stanford did very well in high school. I know people who had perfect grades, with rigor, and we’re rejected. At this point, your GPA is what it is. Let the chips fall where they may.
Moved my comment elsewhere.
Most Stanford applicants appear to have near 4.0 ( 3.9 - 4.0) unweighted GPA. This is because GPA tests whether you can work hard over long time, and most Stanford applicants are hard working students.
