I can't find the 25/75 score range for SATs (all 3 m/cr/w) and ACTs for Northwestern applicants last year. Can anyone provide them? Thanks

This article will give you the middle 50% range of SATs - you will have to convert to ACT range - but Google is your friend.

"Ninety-one percent of incoming freshmen ranked in the top 10 percent of their high school class, and the so-called “middle 50 percent” SAT score is 1390 to 1550 (meaning one-half of the class scored within this range, while one-quarter scored below and above the range, respectively) -

Thanks. Why don’t they include the writing score In the scores?

I really don’t know - I recommend emailing Admissions to get an answer.

Northwestern hasn’t used the writing section in admit decisions since it first came out. Note too that the SAT numbers quoted above, although accurate, are for the class of 2017. The numbers for the current freshman class (of 2018) haven’t been released yet.

Thanks, Bala. Does anyone know what the 25:75 scores are for ACT?

From the '12-'13 Common Data Set, ACT middle 50% was 31-34.

Thanks! Party on, Wayne and Garth!
