Avg LSAT or Best Score?

Do schools look at what your best score is or do they actually use your average?

hai roneald!

since you’re only a graduating high school senior this might change by the time you apply to law school >>

just like SAT changed…also it depends on the law school i think…law school websites might be better to answer this question…

It really depends on the school. Some are now just looking at the higher score and other are still averaging. But I’m sure things will change by the time you apply.

^ Very true: it varies from school to school.

LOL ResurgameBell you might as well become my mentor I swear you’ve answered every question I’ve put on this website -_-x

But thanks! No I was just wondering because I’ve taken two practice tests without studying just to see where I am, and I’m in the mid-160 range (166). However, I wanted to take the real thing to see how different it was in reality, but I didn’t want to do it if a low score on that would screw me over in a few years.

I’m only doing this so far in advance because I’m planning on eventually getting an MBA/JD and I’ll need to focus on the GMAT the latter half of sophmore/beginning of junior year to apply for the direct MBA program at either Cornell or Wharton, so if possible I’d like to get my LSAT’s out of the way by the end of sophmore year.

no problem…it just shows you we think alike…

i understand your fears…although you’re more concerned than i am :P

i dont plan on applying to law school immediately after cornell but i guess i should pick up those power bibles this summer >_>

Really now? Are you planning on taking a few years off to work?

I know most people take years off to work before business school, but is it normal for people to do this for law school as well? O_O
