DD looking at UF and FSU for fall of 2021. Has decided that she really doesn’t enjoy online classes. She took an aptitude test and it was heavy engineering but she isn’t really interested in even hearing about engineering. Not 100% sure on major/minor but thinking about marketing/stats. Wondering what majors have the most least online classes for a very strong math student.
I would look into which school has the most/least online classes.
My D has friends who attended UF and it seems at least a few of them had large, online classes…and they all had different majors.
Are there online classes at FSU?
The UF business school has several online (non Covid 19) classes in the first two years. It’s a resource issue.
If you want to determine if a course is online or not, you can search here https://one.ufl.edu/soc/
You can search online to find the course curriculum for different majors.

Note that there is a difference between 100% online classes and classes that record lectures and make them available online.
A class like ACG2021 - Introduction to Financial Accounting (required for most business majors, including marketing), is “80 to 99%” online. Lectures and test are online, but office hours, tutoring, etc are on campus.
Another popular class like STA2023 - Introduction to Statistics 1, will offer Hybrid (a mixture of online and in-person sessions) traditional (primary on campus) and 100% online sessions.
