Still deciding on where to go from these two schools. Dream college in the future is Cornell, and very interested in graphic arts, design as extra curricular. Play lots of sports (tennis, golf, badminton) too. Interested in majoring in humanities (history preferably) in the future.
Both school look amazing and interview was great too.

Both are sporty schools in culture. Avon is coat/tie and not sure about Shattuck. One is single sex. Where do you live and is it important to go home for short breaks or have family come to watch games/school events you would be a part of? If so think about locations. Are the student populations similar? Avon is a smaller school but has really cool architecture.
yes, @Boardingschoolx2 - Avon has beautiful architecture - the architect was a woman who attended Miss Porters!
To the OP and others interested, I am very familiar with the local of both schools having worked in both nearby locales. If your family is from Chicago, Iowa, MN, or Wisconsin then Shattuck-St Mary’s will be convenient for watching games. The weather is horrid - more horrid than Avon, CT.
Now, the single gender issue at Avon is another story. There is certainly much more to do around Avon-Farmington-Hartford areas than in the area of Shattuck. One can’t live on hockey, alone……especially when you are underage.
