<p>If your award is unique, do give a brief explanation. A student here in the Atlanta area was selected for a great leadership training program which involved shadowing county officials, attending training sessions, meeting state civic and political leaders and other leadership enhancing experiences. It is highly competitive with only a few selected out of hundreds nominated. The student just wrote “Leadership xxxxxxxxx”. I am familiar with the program and suggested adding an explanation. </p>
<p>Also, if the honor won is statewide of regional, be sure to add that to the listing.</p>
