Awesome summer (study) abroad programs for freshman?

<p>A lot of the programs at my school right now are just offered for sophomores+. </p>

<p>Right now I'm looking at the summer program with College Year in Athens, although I believe you have to at least be a sophomore, and a program in Florence with my school.</p>

<p>So far, the stuff that I've seen offered doesn't look too great.</p>

<p>Any suggestions?</p>

<p>I went to an awesome program in Mexico this summer if you're interested in learning Spanish/staying with a family.</p>

<p>It was also very cheap. Let me know if you want info.</p>
