B.Ed.Secondary Mathematics

Hello!

I intend to apply to study Secondary Mathematics at McGill this year, so I would like to hear from anyone who has studied in this program in order to share me some experiences of how the academic works are like. Are the math courses hard or not too hard? (more like high school math or not?) And also if anyone can, please tell me generally how it's been going for you in the program so far.

Thank you!

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) - Secondary Mathematics | 2014–2015 Programs, Courses and University Regulations - McGill University; - look under required and complimentary mathematics courses…

Looks like McGill favors arming high school math teachers with a deep mathematical background… even if you elected to take Option 2 (which spares you from having to take 6 upper-division math courses but you have to replace them with 6 courses in another teachable area).
