B+ in AP Calculus How much will it hurt?

I'm applying as an engineering major to some really selective schools, but after finding out I got a B+ in AP Calc this semester (AB, not even BC), I don't see how I can be competitive against other engineering students. My top schools include Cornell, Stanford, Northwestern, and Princeton, so that's what I mean about a B+ hindering my chances. I did decently on the SATs (not great, but 750 on Math II and 750 on the regular SAT), but I doubt that will make up for my poor grade this term. How much will this ruin my chances?

you only hurt yourself by asking this question

If you think that one grade in one class (that is a B+, no less) is going to keep you from being an engineer, then you need to get in a good, sturdy stance, feet shoulder width apart and knees bent, then reach down between your legs and get a firm grasp on your neck, then firmly tug and pull your head out of your butt.

lol got it. I probably just overanalyzed it all

750 on math II isn’t great? Do you have pushy asian parents like some of my friends have luls?

if your that anxious about getting an A, I got some good news for you: calculus BC is relatively easier because you already have the basic calculus concepts down and are just adding on to it.

Man…if you don’t get off this site complaining about nothing…lol

B+ in Ap Calc I doubt will be a decision factor, like an A, a B is a respectable grade to have.

Tell us the truth, are you first, second or third generation asian?

I’m a caucasian female ;)

I laughed pretty hard at that.

^I’ve been on here for almost a year and I still don’t know how to quote!!!

OMG I would love your scores.

I got a 700 on SAT 1 and started off calculus on the wrong foot so I have a C. Quit your complaining, and everyone else who has stellar stats, can it.

steps off soapbox

Like this only take out the spaces in the brackets:

[ quote ]type your message[ /quote ]

Or to quote with the name, do (without spaces)

[ quote=xAAAx ]boneh3ad is awesome![ /quote ]

I am in the same boat as you but I have decided not to worry about it. Let’s share! :)
