BA global studies or BA economics ???

Hi, I'm an international student and my current major is global studies. I'm a sophomore. I was wondering which of those two major ( economics/global studies) would be the best to be enrolled in a good MBA program ( after several years of working experience of course)
I really like my major, have a GPA that I can improve (3.65) but I feel like it's not very challenging. Whats more, I have no idea about the job opportunities. My final goal is to get an MBA and I heard we need several years of experience, which makes sense.
I still can switch my major. First, I wanted to take a minor in economics, but I feel like it's not worth it.
I am not a genius in maths but I am interested in economics. I would rather prefer taking a BA in economics instead of a BS because I don't want to only focus in business and prefer studying politics and history besides ( electives classes ) The main risk is that the major in economics could low my GPA
I have 3 options :
1. keep my major in global studies
2. keep my major in global studies and minor in economics
3.switch my major : bachelor of arts in economics and minor in global studies

What option would you choose ? What are the jobs opportunities with a BA in economics ?

Thank you so much

anyone ???

As long as you have a decent GPA, GMAT scores, and relevant work experience, you can major in whatever you want any solid liberal arts major would be an appropriate background for an MBA program. Of course, it helps to have principles of economics and basic quantitative skills (calculus, statistics), but you needn’t major or minor in economics. If you did decide on an economics major, the BA would be fine; the BS track is for people that want to enter a research-oriented doctoral program or who want to focus on a quantitative specialty in a graduate business program. Job prospects without a graduate business degree probably are better with an economics major than with a global studies major, however. Next best probably would be a politics major, unless you get your work experience in an an international firm.

thank you for your answer. do you know if I can work abroad with an BA in economics ?

Also I was wondering: How can we get accepted into top MBA program ? ( top 20 )
Is it more the work experience , and be lucky to find a very good job , or is is more with good letters of recommendations ( for example I guess people who have relations at some universities can get accepted easier ) or is it both ?

thanks

If you want to work abroad you may want to double. I’m thinking of adding a minor in International Studies to my Econ BS.

Also, seriously, what is the significance of using the screen name “with almonds”??
