Hi, I am most likely going to enter Berkeley next year as a freshmen. I will receive advanced standing because of many AP's and IB's I have taken in high school. I am interested in pursuing a BA/MA in 4 years at Berkeley.

Under what conditions is this possible? Is it allowed for any field of study or major? Do I have to demonstrate academic excellence to be accepted into the program? Basically I am pretty clueless on this so tell me anything you know.

The field of study I would pursue a BA/MA in 4 years would be political science or international affairs or some related field.

Thanks

im not sure you would have that much of an advantage considering your ap's and ib's since polisci is in the college of letters and science. for the most part in this college, they dont accept this credit for classes (minus math and the american cultures requirement)

lol, I wouldn't be so presumptuous. (With a 3.5 GPA, getting into Berkeley will be pretty difficult, so there's no "most likely.")

I highly doubt you'll be able to complete a BA/MA in 4 years. Berkeley offers few 5-year bachelor's/master's programs, so even with lots of AP/IB credit, getting both in four years will be difficult, if even possible.
