<p>My credentials may not be impressive, but please rate my chance. My counselor and teachers say my essays stand out. Will good essays make me a strong applicant even if my stats aren't as good as others? </p>

<p>Will the lack of involvement in sports hurt my chance? When I was a freshman at a public school in Texas, I was a starting defensive back for the freshman football team and was on the Varsity track team, but I had to quit those sports since my current school doesn't have teams for the two sports.</p>
