BA vs. BS

Which one is better for employment or grad school?
What if your school offers only one or the other--will it make a difference in how you are viewed by the world? (The world = employers and grad school admissions people.) Does a BA in physics look weird?

As I understand it, it depends on what you want to do with the Physics. A BA in computer science apparently doesn’t matter to employers versus a BS, though one would think it would.

The BA means you have a broader background in liberal arts and have more flexibility to go on in other fields ie business, law, medicine. A BA in Physics is acceptable for fields that are not necessarily research/lab type but you should confirm that with a career advisor.
