Hi! I got deferred from NYU CAS applying to major in econ and minor in computer science but got into Babson w/ scholarship. If I get into NYU CAS should I go (I ED there originally and love the campus) or go to a business school (Babson) that is closer to home. Please help!!
For those specific majors i would reccomend NYU, however, Babson has a lot of value, and I mean ALOT so if those major and minor you are not sure about or are not passionate about then I reccomend Babson because you will definitely find a passion at Babson and Babson will help you grow your passion, thats literally waht that school is all about, I got in with a scholarship as well I’ll be class 2022
@tastetherainbow Economics and business are very different majors. I would consider carefully which direction you want to go, if you get into NYU.
for entrepreneurship Babson - but if you want to do something more general NYU is better
Each are great schools for business, the importance really lies within what you want to major in. As mentioned above, Babson is great for entrepreneurship and each have pretty good concentrations for finance.You really can’t go wrong with either college so I would choose what feels right.
Babason if you want to switch business and it’s affordable.
