Baccalaureate/MD Program

Hi,
I think it safe to say that some of us who did not get a scholarship letter and have been accepted to USC, had applied to the BA/MD Program.
I was wondering if anyone else had gotten their letter and when they are interviewing. Has anyone on the CC board interviewed for this previously?

Thanks!

yeah, I got my letter a week or so ago and I didnt get a scholarship letter. I scheduled mine for March 5th.

im combining pres. scholarship and bacc/md on march 3-5th. see you there inthemoney!!

i'll be there feb 25-27 for trustee and b/md interviews

okay, cool
i'm interviewing march 5th

let us know how it turns out!

is the attire same for the scholarship interview, or is it more formal-like?

cecesunshine, how was your interview?
i don't think it matters now, but i would think that the attire for the interview would be formal like the interview process.

but i was wondering what kind of questions they asked and if they have your application in front of them? did you stay with a student?

yeah i ended up wearing a suit anyway, almost everyone did

the interview (i think) went very well. the only medical question i got was health care, and we didnt spend much time on it at all. i think they actually really do want to see that you're enthusiastic and passionate about medicine, and genuinely want to know more about you.

there will always be "tell me about yourself" and "why do you want to be a doctor," and i got questions like what kind of doctor, what major, what do you want to do in college, things like that

it felt very laid back, and it went by pretty fast. they do have your application with them, so read up on what you wrote. i stayed with a bacc/md student in her dorm, and it was really cool. good luck on your interview!

cecesunshine, do you know if they asked questions about health care issues? like euthanasia, universal health care, etc?

look in other posts in mutiple degree programs. a lot of people have had a lot of suggestions that might help some more
