<p>A bachelor of science degree is more intensive in the major field in terms of the number of courses. I don't believe that Barnard offers the BS degree, but that doesn't mean you can't take the extra courses. Graduate schools are aware of this. Many Barnard women go to graduate school. In industry you might have to have a certain skill set. This would be reflected in your transcript. On the other hand many physics majors go to work on Wall Street (or so I've heard)</p>
