If you’re a junior in high school, my best advice is to stop thinking about grad school and start thinking about college. It’s great that you have a 5 year plan and all, but you really need to first decide what you want to do as far as undergrad goes first. You don’t have to decide your major on the day you show up, you have time to take a look at the classes offered, the lab facilities, and talk to other students as well as professors and make an informed choice for your own reasons.

Do you even know what mechanical engineering can offer you? Do you know whether you want to do fluids/thermo, materials science, solid mechanics, machine design, etc etc etc? If you dont know anything about those, or the subspecialties in the EE world, it’s a moot point to start a grad school discussion.
