I’m admitted through ED, and I received the acceptance letter along with the Early Decision Commitment Card, which needs to be returned back to the Admission Office. In the front of the yellow card, there is some basic information and a space for my signature, but on the back of the card, there is a lot of lines and free spaces for some kind of “remarks”. What does that mean? Should I write down my feelings? This is so weird…

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe it’s for people who aren’t sure if they can attend Brown after all?

They’ve done this forever… or at least for the last seven years. I think it really is so that you can write down your feelings :)

Uh oh, I didn’t even see the back of it, and someone saw it and mailed it in for me.

It just says “remarks” on the back? Maybe I shall send them a short billet-doux if so.

could I just say in all caps THANK YOU and draw a smiley face…?

I don’t think I ever noticed that last year. I think it’s just for any thanks you want to send, etc. Such a cute idea.

Very Brown :)

I think I just wrote “Thanks!” not knowing what they really expected.

I just sealed the envelope with a “Yay! Thanks :)”. Now I feel kinda stupid…but too late

I didn’t even notice there was a back because I was so excited to mail it out!
