As I help my student pack the van for the annual road trip back to campus for the start of the year: warm wishes to all the new and returning students. May your coming year be as exciting and promising as it can be. May your parents be as happy and excited as you to see you at Brown. May your moving in be fun and easy, and may we all hope for good weather and not too awful traffic this weekend! “Ever True”!

BrownAlumParent: Enjoy your last moving-in experience, and I hope your daughter has a great senior year. In May, you’ll experience the best part about being a Brown alum and parent of a student – you get to march down the hill at commencement with the alumni and watch your daughter walk by you, and then you get to march by her.

^ Seconded, commencement is the best.

(Then again, you probably already know that.)

My Brown student is counting the hours until the return to campus. This returning sophomore could not be happier - LOVES the school!!

I’m jealous! This is the second year that we’re not going back-- daughter graduated in '11. It was such a great 4 years. Good luck to all students and safe travels!
