<p>Silly question, but what kinds of backpacks/ bags do students use on campus to carry their books? </p>
<p>DD1 just has a regular back pack like the one she used in high school.</p>
<p>I can’t speak for Richmond, but my son is a high school senior, and last year he got a new backpack specifically designed to carry a laptop. He takes his laptop to high school about half the time, and I expect will do so even more next year in college.</p>
<p>Look at a North Face with laptop compartment. More expensive than some brands but great quality and warranty.</p>
