So I just took the AP Physics B test and I think I got a 3 or a 4. I'd wanted to apply to Princeton's Engineering school to study computer science. I have a 2340 and I've been getting 780+ on my math 2 and physics subject test practices. I just couldn't finish the FRQs on this test and panicked and made stupid mistakes, plus the multiple choice was harder than on the SAT II. How bad will it look to apply to engineering school with only a 3 on the AP Physics exam? Should I not send the score? Will it be considered differently since I want to study CS? If I get an 800 on the subject test will it not matter? I only took two other AP tests this year (both should be 5s) and I'm not sending a terrible language score from last year...

you cant pick and choose which ap scores to send. That being said, don’t worry about 4s-I got 3 fours and one five and was wait listed (apply for STEM). If you get a 3, I would still send if everything looks good. A 2 or lower however can potentially ruin chances in my opinion but a 3 with a slew of 4s and 5s should be fine. best of luck
