I have been so busy the past few months and have gotten almost no time to study for the AP World History Exam. I took a practice test, and did well on the multiple choice, but I can NOT do the COT essay and I'm not great at the other either. I doubt I will get much time to prepare between now and the test.

So, do bad scores affect your chances of getting in? I don't see how I could ever get below a 3, (and I feel like I can pull off a 4) but you never know.

AP scores are self reported. If you are sending an official report, you can ask collegeboard to withold your score for a fee.

Well I took U.S. History last year, and I’m going to send the score in for that. Doesn’t that mean all of the scores will be on the transcript?
My problem is, unless the essays are impossible, I don’t want to cancel my scores because I feel like I could get a 4. I’m scared that I will end up doing worse than I originally thought. You can’t get rid of a score once it’s there, right? Do you know if getting a 3 or 2 would hurt your chances

This is specific to leaving some scores off of your report.

You send an official report only after you have an acceptance. The schools do not need an official report (I dont know of any) for AP exams for your admission. The report is used to waive some classes or give you credit after you join.

Oh, so they won’t see my scores at all during the admissions process??
