<p>my friend sent me her college essay to read and it was about her ex boyfriend and how he was abusive and she overcame the abuse (included in the essay is stuff about drunken calls) to find her self-worth..This topic, to me, seems really risky and kind of strange bc she found self worth through a boy..any ideas/suggestions</p>
<p>It's hard to comment without seeing what she wrote. I can definitely see where that essay could turn out poorly, though.</p>
