Bad First Semester, How Will it Affect Me?

I just know ppl. Because of my connection the chancellor personally knows my file. BUT, has informed me that it is against state law, for him to interfere with the admissions process. Further stating if I am on the bubble I will get favorable consideration. Personally, I think I am below the bubble and still hope I will get in. My heart is still in USC.

Part of me is hoping that it was formality

haha, yeah your hookup can potentially help a lot. probably useless, but i sent a letter of recommendation written by someone who has connections to the admissions people.

who in their right mind would go to USC when they can go to UCLA. UCLA>USC.

PSHHHHH USC >>>>>>> than UCLA. I must admit UCLA is a great school but what I want out of a Uni, USC is the place for me.

I think the same when people prefer UCLA over UCB. Insanity.

Private and Public schools are not comparable. Sorry

depends what aspect of the schools youre comparing. private more expensive than public. prestige- depends on school. connections- private probably has more. endowment- private. education- depends.

good public (michigan, cal) > most privates

DJS3CA, RCHANG:

But did you guys retake those courses? You didn't say...

I'm in the same boat. Got accepted to SD, wondering how it'd affect me with LA, etc. etc.

How WOULD it affect you with LA?

Am I missing something here? Why is everyone talking how one acceptance would jeopardize the other? If you qualify, YOU QUALIFY. right?

of course i retook my d and F lol, both for A's i think

Just informed I am on the bubble for UCLA business econ. SO NERVOUS

oh cause I never retook mine... yet I got accepted.

they were from extension, not from any CC or anything. is that the reason? (does anyone know lol I don't trust my counselor)
