3.622 + TAP = UCLA? or not....

I just started the TAP program this Fall quarter, and will be TAP certified by the end of Winter quarter.

GE/pre-req's done? Yes, by Spring quarter.
Enough amount of credits to apply? Yes.

GPA at this moment is 3.622 (first quarter grades were atrocious)
Major: English
Alternative major: American Literature and Culture
English is highly impacted, while Am Lit, which around 30 students applied for last year.

At my ccc, 85~98% students are admitted to UCLA with TAP (compared to 45~50% without TAP). The advisors also told me that the ones that are not admitted are the ones that didn't certify their TAP agreement, didn't select an alternative major or didn't finish the courses they promised to take.
I'm going to be very careful and follow the rules about those.

With the TAP program, do I have a possible chance for UCLA?
Can I trust TAP to give me that extra push past the 3.6 GPA, or should I expect a rejection?

I got into UCLA as English with a GPA slightly higher than yours. But no need for anecdotal evidence, you should get in easily. The stats you bring up speak for themselves...with TAP, GPA, unless its horribly atrocious, hardly matters. It's all about the TAP.

Go relax and forget about the app stuff.

THANK GOD I saw your post before I sent my apps in... I would've had a heart attack.

Thanks so much.
