I'm only a freshman, and probably shouldn't worry about this, but I am. I got a 2.8 GPA first semester this year:

C Human Anatomy
B+ English
B Developmental Psychology
B General health
B Orientation (to old major)

I changed from an Athletic Training/Physical Therapy to Management/Marketing major, hoping to someday work in Sports Management or Sports Marketing. I've already done the math and figured that if I get a 3.5 each semester for the next 7, I'll have a 3.4 when I graduate. If I get a 3.75 each semester, I'll have a 3.6. I plan to get at least a 3.75 each semester. I slacked off/wasn't ready for exams/didn't study enough this semester and it came back to bite me. I've heard and read that 3.6 is respectable for grad school (MBA most likely) but will they see my 2.8 and question my work?? I know I can't do anything to change it, but just wondering.

BTW, I'm already looking at grad schools--mainly UOregon (marketing) and OhioU (management). Is it possible to go to grad school for sports marketing or management straight from undergrad or is a few years of work more recommended?
