<p>hi, my GPA is a 3.58 UW and 4.0ish W but my SAT score is 2400. I also took a bunch of AP’s and SAT II’s and did well on those. i took all the hardest classes possible.</p>

<p>If your grades throughout are low, then they may just assume you’re lazy and question the integrity/actual value of your given ECs (however impressive they may be, but any simpleton could be president of FBLA if there are only 3 other members). </p>
<p>If it’s just a few scattered courses surrounded by good grades, or a ‘type’ of course (i.e. science courses, ‘applied’ sciences like physics/chemistry, etc.) where you poorly performed, then you could just not be good at those subjects or just have terrible teachers. </p>
<p>No offense to BU, but I’d think some APs and a whopping 2400 will do you fine. What I’m saying above more greatly extends to the other top 25 schools.</p>

<p>my bad grades were all concentrated in math and science lol. and in my super competitive snobby overachiever school, a 3.58 is considered really bad!</p>
