How much does it hurt? My handwriting during timed things is freakin' bad. Sooo sloppy and I cross out soooo much stuff. You can still read it, but it's definitely really bad.

sameeee. mines so bad… its really sloppy and horrendous that sometimes, my teachers can’t read it, though im sure they can guess what i’m saying… mind posting a pic of how bad it is?mine is readable i’d say.

Mine too!
Like, I can’t even read it…
I hope my essay reader is not stingy…

If they can’t read it then they will give you a 0.

I know that…
I hope they can read it…OMG…

My handwriting is kind of like this…can you read it?

^ Yes. That’s actually pretty good.

^I can read that fine. That’s neatly written ._.

Thank God!
But accept mine is with a lot (I mean a lot!) of cross outs and smudges…
It looks really messy…

I wouldn’t say that is bad at all, I’ve seen much much worse.

I can read my handwriting… i dont know about the others :P… its just that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.

Essay graders read thousands of essay for five days straight. They might be willing to give an essay with bad handwriting a low score out of spite.

Ughh…I am going to pray my reader is nice and tolerant…

All essays are read carefully and given credit for the information. If a reader has trouble reading an essay, the Table Leader will read it. If the Table Leader can’t read it, it goes to the Question Leader. Still a problem? It is sent to the Chief Reader who makes sure it gets read by somebody. Readers don’t “give” scores, they earn credit for correct, relevant information.

Yah… my handwriting was kinda bad on most of my FRQ’s… hoping it isn’t taken into account…

Thanks BigIs.
That feels better.

yeah that looks hard to read at first glance but mine is sorta like that but neater… i tend to make some letters like e alot smaller so it looks like i miss a letter but i think its definitely readable or at least gistable. i really gotta improve though.

aqua, that is some really AWESOME handwriting! My teacher has given us released student responses to some of the essays, and some of the handwriting is very unique but professional (like yours). It’s much easier to decipher the neatest of writing than it is the sloppiest of writing. :p

You have nothing to worry about.

I kinda feel like uploading what my writing is like. :p

Actually that image is not mine…but my is kind of like that.
Open letters squeeze together. Except mine is longer and thinner. And with a mix of bad cursive :)
