So ive basically finished my long essays and am now trying to do the short ones…but…

I looked at the history one, and the first thing that came to mind was The Adam and Eve apple moment, since it kind of determined the fate of the world.

But then the other side of me is saying don’t put anything religious…

so, i’m at a loss. Did anyone put anything like this? Would it be well received or not?

I put it in...if they don't like it, oh well.. This is what I wrote:
The most important moment in history occurred thousands of years ago in the Garden of Eden, when Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Their choice changed the fate of the world and introduced to the world the ideas of sin and morals. This concept has become the basis for society and has affected all of history since that day.

That's fantastic. Just make sure you don't ever say "apple."

I'd say a better way to put it would be to talk about moral relativity. By sinning against God, Adam and Eve lost their chance to live forever like He intended. He banished them from Paradise and let them see whether or not their life would be better if they would decide for themselves what was right or wrong. Then, you could use your awesome explanation thing about how humanity's moral struggle has sculpted society and how it's both solved and created problems.

I should've chosen that one. hits forehead
