I have taken 5 subject tests, but my last one was physics and I am positive I got at most a 600, I have already used my free score report, so it's too late to change it and NOT send it (big mistake). I've sent it to Virginia Tech, UVA, NYU, and UC Berkeley. I need someone to comfort me....

The physics is curved super hard so you may do better than expected.

One bad subject test score out of 5 doesn’t really mean much. Besides, the physics SAT has a great curve: I thought I was getting around a 700 and I ended up getting an 800.

I was completely unprepared for anything beyond kinematics and basic force problems. But hopefully you’re right and this one score doesn’t ruin everything. I’m really nervous now.

Not too late to take again anyway. Actually, I think today is last day to register for December tests.

I don’t plan on taking anymore tests. i don’t have the money

Wait a second, you used your only free score report before all you finished all your tests, you didn’t study for possibly the hardest Subject Test and only knew how to do basic problems, you had your scores sent directly to the colleges and NOW you’re worried?

I think you’re misunderstanding. yes, I didn’t really think it through when it came to using the free score reports but I felt incredibly confident about my math II that I took with physics. However, I finished ALL the SAT tests I was going to take (reasoning test and re-takes, and 5 subject tests), so I took advantage of the opportunity to save $40. I DID study, but these topics on electromagnetism, etc, were brand new, and it’s hard to study a topic that I never learned in class and fully grasp the understanding. of course I had them sent directly to the college, where else would I send them? heaven?
Please don’t reply to a thread just to make me feel bad. I am already nervous, and I don’t need you to call me an idiot.

I don’t think it’s too late to remove recipients, as long as you haven’t received your score yet.

I’ve checked collegeboard.org and there’s no option to change/remove recipients.

You can get something like 30 wrong and come away with above a 700. May be wrong but that’s what my Barron’s book said.

I hope the curve is like that! Scores come out tomorrow, so I can only wait.

I thought I bombed the physics too. Was expecting like mid 600s or something. Ended up with an 800 due to the supercurve.

That’s great!

Good luck. I’ll just keep my fingers crossed that your scores come out better than you expect. They come out soon don’t they?

To get above a 600, all you needed to do was get a raw score > than 31/75. [SparkNotes: SAT Physics: SAT II Physics Score Conversion Table](<a href=“SparkNotes: Today's Most Popular Study Guides”>SparkNotes: Today's Most Popular Study Guides)

Sounds like getting a 600 in physics is about as hard as randomly circling answers. You probably got a 800.
