okay, is there anyone who did not do amazing on the NEW SAT test? haha, it seems like everyone on this board got a 2100 and above! well, i didn't...im really dissapointed with my score, anyone have some advice?

we can't help you if you don't tell us what you're good/bad in

i got a 2050 : (
retake in the fall, prepare as much as possible..that's about it

What did you got on the new SAT? My friend got 1140. Is there anything my friend could do to get higher score next time?

i got like, 1900 something. i dont want to say exact, becasue i did so bad. haha. math really brings down my score. something about SAT math is soo hard for me. :(

I feel your pain hello88. I haven't take the sat yet, but let's just say it's a hundred points lower than my next lower score on every practice test I've taken

Anything over 1900 is good. Anything over 2100 is really good. Anything over 2300 is amazing.

I got a 2070. The lowest score I got in the blue book was 2180. =(

I did well on the new SAT (I ended up with a 2320) and I used a prep book called the Rocket Review Revolution: The Ultimate Guide to the New SAT 2005 Edition. It's written by Adam Robinson. He is the same guy who wrote the Cracking the SAT book for Princeton Review. The book is amazing, easy to read, and entertaining. It is by far my favorite prep book.

 (just testing the smilies)

I got an 1840.

hey rizingphoenix i used the same book and got nearly the exact same score, 2330. It is an awesome book. I actually emailed him once or twice and he responded.

"I got a 2070. The lowest score I got in the blue book was 2180. =("
Thats impossible. The blue book doesnt give you one score but a range. In a given test you could have a range of 150 points.

Rocket Review Revolution: The Ultimate Guide to the New SAT 2005 Edition? okay, i think i'm going to check it out! i need all the advice i can get. :) congrats to all of you who did well...i'm jealous! :)

You do know that most people on the board who recieved disappointing scores tend not to post their scores and this is why you see so many really high and skewed scores.

I used the Rocket Review book too! I agree that the writing style makes it easy to get through, and I found the essay-grading software to be amazingly helpful.

i did not review in any way but taking practice tests

760/800/770

TAWS: Or possibly, anyone anal enough to look up a site to talk about it probably devotes enough time/cares enough to do better than the average joe.
