My freshman and sophomore year grades were 97. But in 11th grade, I took 3 APs, and I did badly that year especially in precalc (which wasn’t AP, just accelerated). I had an 89 overall average junior year. And my first quarter for senior year sucked. I failed my AP Calc class with a 65, and for my other 2 AP classes I had a 79 and 90. Senior year, I got an 86 overall average for first quarter. which brought down my entire GPA to a 92. How badly will this affect my chances of getting into my top college which has an average GPA of 3.7
A 92 weighted? I believe thats around a 3.7
Even if my gpa meets their average, will my low scores senior year make a huge difference?
If you are having difficulty in AP classes, it shows a likelihood of struggling in college classes. Most AP classes cover the same topic is a college class. However, they are at half the speed.
