My AP Euro teacher has done virtually nothing to prepare his classes for the AP Euro exam. What can I do to learn enough European History (i.e. what should I really get to know and what can I afford not to know) to get at least a 4?

I appreciate your help!

I’m stuck in the same situation :(

Well, I don’t remember quite everything from last year, when I took it, but definitely be strong in your essays. If you have a review book, it might have a percentage breakdown of topics on the test. I think post World War I was made up quite a lot of the questions, though. Know artists and authors as well.

that may be of use to you - our teacher told us about it. It’s pretty vague though.

If you have a good textbook and a good review book, use those. If you’re good in history, you don’t necessarily need a teacher to get you in good shape for a 4 or higher.

I would go over the guidelines for writing a high scoring FRQ and DBQ. They’re very specific and many teachers just gloss over them.

Get a copy of the AP European History Crash Course book. It is very good.
