I agree and think those are great scores for any schools, but I wouldn’t dismiss the possibility of a retake too soon. Just a suggestion.

Your Writing score seems to be set, unless you go through your score report and find any obvious weaknesses. Otherwise, its writing, is an awesome score.

Now, your verbal score. It seems that your enjoyment of the passages helped you greatly. This is very believable because not many people do well when they can’t bear to read the passages. It seems you have hit the right key. Now, if you hit a few more keys, something might just happen. Look at your score report. Was vocabulary a problem, or the reading passages, or both? If so, see if you can develop a pattern to follow when attacking the passages. Do you check off the questions on the passages, then read, and etc. Point is, find a groove. Also, for vocabulary, if it is an issue, try to find out through threads here, if you just didn’t know the words or made a mistake. Again, pattern. Look for sentence clues and see what word spaces should be negative or positive, or if both are opposing each other, or if both flow together. Really get a feel for the necessary word.

All this CR Prep can be achieved with a lot of practice. You didn’t do much before the test, it seems you have a greater potential. Don’t get me wrong, you have an amazing CR score, and I am not being condescending with any suggestions, its just, give yourself another shot of you feel you can do better. I don’t know which schools you are interested in, but, if you now your ability, you might as well show it at its fullest.

Math. A 650 tells me there were only a handful of questions that kept you out of the 700 range. Going from a 650 to a low-mid 700 is just about repetition for the SAT. When you do many many real SAT math sections over and over, you realize that the CBs arsenal is only so large. The few new questions that they put on their determine the 800. But, again, you know yourself better than anyone else, so, if you feel you can, go for it.

I just want to conclude saying, you have a great score- but, don’t shortchange yourself… ever.
