Anyone out there at university of Alabama? now I’ve heard the students out there are really hostile towards minorities. is it true???
You’ve already asked a very similar question in the Bama forum and received plenty of responses, albeit some of which weren’t the best. You could maybe PM some of the people there about getting in contact with current Indian UA students.
This is simply a suggestion in the event that you don’t get any answers here and still have some skepticism. I have no idea if the people in the UA forum would be capable of doing this. May be worth a shot though; you may find the answers you’re seeking.
States no foreigners should apply to universities in: Alabama, Mississippi, Tenessee, South Carolina, Arkansas, Louisiana. These states have a history of discriminating against people of color. A majority of the population of these states would most likely enjoy seeing all people of color enslaved again.
Louisiana has an Indian governor - Piyush “Bobby” Jindal.
@simba9 That doesn’t mean its people aren’t blatently racist. Jindal was elected because he was the Republican candidate and Louisiana hasn’t voted Democrat since the 80’s
Newsflash, @mohchan360: ALL US states “have a history of discriminating against people of color.”
You’re a high school sophomore from NJ. Have you ever even traveled south of the Mason Dixon line?
I was wondering the same thing. (The Mason-Dixon line is an imaginary line on a map that unofficially separates the northern and southern USA.) People who make statements like mochan360’s usually have an overly simplistic view of how the world works.
